Yuji Itadori is the main protagonist of the popular anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a high school student who lives with his grandfather and has a strong sense of justice. Yuji is a friendly and outgoing person and he is well-liked by his peers. However he is also a bit of a troublemaker and he has been known to get into fights.
Yuji’s life takes a dramatic turn when he becomes involved with the occult. After his grandfather’s death Yuji joins the Occult Research Club at his school where he comes into contact with a cursed object that contains the finger of a powerful demon named Sukuna. When a group of cursed spirits attacks the school in search of the finger Yuji’s friends are killed and he is forced to fight them off. In order to prevent Sukuna’s resurrection Yuji swallows the finger which leads to him becoming a Jujutsu Sorcerer.
As a Jujutsu Sorcerer Yuji is enrolled in the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, where he trains to become stronger and learns to control his cursed powers. Yuji is mentored by Satoru Gojo, a powerful Jujutsu Sorcerer, who takes him under his wing and trains him in the ways of Jujutsu.
Yuji is a unique Jujutsu Sorcerer as he possesses both cursed energy and physical strength. This makes him a formidable fighter and he quickly becomes one of the most powerful students at the school. However Yuji’s strength also makes him a target for other Jujutsu Sorcerers who see him as a threat.
Yuji’s personality is one of his most defining characteristics. He is a kind and compassionate person who cares deeply about his friends and those around him. He is willing to risk his life to protect others even if it means putting himself in danger. Yuji’s selflessness and bravery inspire others to do the same and he becomes a beacon of hope for those fighting against the cursed spirits.
Yuji also struggles with the weight of his newfound powers and the responsibility that comes with being a Jujutsu Sorcerer. He is haunted by the deaths of his friends and the knowledge that he may be responsible for unleashing Sukuna’s power onto the world.
