Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Anime Release Date Confirmed, Visual Revealed

Fairy Tail finally unveiled the release date of its next anime chapter- Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest to the general public for release in summer! Fairy Tail ended some years back but then a sequel manga was developed carrying on the story officially which involves Natsu and his crew moving past where they left off initially at Fairy Tail Guild. So Fairy Tail: 100 years quest presents Natsu and friends with their hardest quest ever bringing with it fresh individuals, ties and occurrences.

This July, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will debut as one of the Summer 2024 anime lineups, an update for the series has stated that it will air on July 7th in Japan. The international release plans of the sequel to Fairy Tail have not been confirmed. However, there is a new poster below that you can check out in action celebrating the Japanese release date which focuses on one of the major new additions to the sequel anime.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Anime Releases on July 7th

The latest visual showcases the main character, Natsu, along with his companions Happy, Erza, Lucy, Wendy, Charles, and Gray. The illustration also features the water god dragon, Mercphobia, and a mysterious man. Additionally, the anime's official site has announced new cast members. Talented voice actress Yumi Uchiyama will voice Kiria, a member of the Diablos guild.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is set to premiere in Japan on July 7th. Shinji Ishihara will return from the original Fairy Tail anime as the chief director for the sequel, with Toshinori Watanabe directing for J.C. Staff. Atsuhiro Tomioka will oversee the scripts, Yurika Sako will handle character designs, and Yasuharu Takanashi will compose the music. The core cast returning includes Tetsuya Kakihara as Natsu Dragneel, Aya Hirano as Lucy Heartfilia, Rie Kugimiya as Happy, Satomi Satou as Wendy, Yui Horie as Charle, Sayaka Ohara as Erza Scarlet, and Yuichi Nakamura as Gray Fullbuster.

The sequel is a followed-up featuring the characters such as Mugihito cast as Elefseria, Yuichiro Umehara is Mercphobia, Karameel by Yoko Hikasa, Touka by Sayumi Suzuhiro, Kiria by Yumi Uchiyama, and Itaru Yamamoto as Madmole. Skullion on the other hand will be played by Kenji Hamada.

Kodansha Comics USA has licensed Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest for an English release, with the following synopsis:

"Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Erza, and the whole Fairy Tail guild are back in action! And they've decided to tackle the '100 Years Quest' – a job no one's dared take on since the founding of the guild more than a century ago. A mysterious town, a baffling spirit, a ghastly new enemy…and a brand new continent to explore. When you're with real friends, the adventures never stop!"
