Demon Slayer Season 4 Announced For Spring 2024 Along With Trailer

Aniplex revealed the Promotional Reel 2024 on Sunday, December 10, 2023, officially announcing the release window for Demon Slayer Season 4. The PV indicated that the anime adaptation of the Hashira Arc is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2024, featuring a special one-hour-long episode.

Ufotable, responsible for production, officially gave the green light to Demon Slayer Season 4 in June 2023. The upcoming anime adaptation of the Hashira arc will showcase Tanjiro Kamado’s encounters with the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who aims to groom him into a Hashira. Consequently, Tanjiro will undergo intensive training to prepare for the impending battles.

Demon Slayer Season 4 Trailer and Release Date

As previously mentioned, the Promotional Reel 2024 for Demon Slayer, unveiled on December 10, 2023, has confirmed the release details for the TV anime adaptation of the Hashira Arc. According to the announcement, Demon Slayer Season 4 is set to premiere in Spring 2024, featuring a special one-hour episode.

While the specific date has not been disclosed by the official staff, fans can anticipate the anime’s broadcast in April 2024. The Promotional Reel 2024 kicks off with awe-inspiring action sequences, showcasing Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Nezuko, and other characters.

Having evoked nostalgia among fans, the reel transitions into a new phase, highlighting the remaining Hashiras. This includes Tengen Uzui, Shinobu Kocho, Muichiro Tokito, Mitsuri Kanroji, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, Gyomei Himejima, and Giyu Tomioka.

In addition to the Hashiras, the trailer depicts a scene where Nezuko gazes at the sun through a window. The Demon Slayer Season 4 announcement concludes with a shot featuring Tanjiro. Subsequently, the screen reveals Spring 2024 as the anticipated release window for the anime.

Demon Slayer Movie Confirmed

In addition to the forthcoming Demon Slayer Season 4 TV animation, the Promotional Reel 2024 has substantiated the existence of a movie titled Demon Slayer: To The Hashira Training. This film is set to grace the 4K and IMAX screens on February 23, 2024, and an accompanying key visual has been revealed which can be seen above.

Notably, the movie will incorporate Episode 11 from Demon Slayer Season 3 and Episode 1 of the upcoming Hashira Training Arc anime. As outlined in the Promotional Reel 2024, the film is slated to embark on a “World Tour,” reaching audiences in over 140 countries.

Demon Slayer Season 4 Cast and Production

The cast and staff lineup for Demon Slayer Season 4 has been officially disclosed on the anime’s website. Haruo Sotozaki is set to resume his role as the producer at Ufotable Studios, while Akira Matsushima takes on the positions of Chief Animation Director and Character Designer.

Returning to their respective roles are Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro Kamado and Akari Kito as Nezuko Kamado. Hiro Shimono reprises Zenitsu, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka returns as Inosuke Hashibira.

The additional cast members include:

– Takahiro Sakurai as Giyu Tomioka
– Katsyuki Konishi as Tengen Uzui
– Kengo Kawanishi as Muichiro Tokito
– Kana Hanazawa as Mitsuri Kanroji

As previously mentioned, the anime adaptation of the Hashira Training arc will depict Tanjiro Kamado’s rigorous training to attain the strength of a Hashira. This journey will lead him to unlock his latent potential, preparing him to confront formidable foes such as Muzan and the Upper Moon Demons.
